Zayden Holmes Obituary (2018

Our sweet smiling baby Zayden returned to his Heavenly Fathers arms on December 2, 2018. Wrapped in his mother’s arms he took his last breath here on earth. He was surrounded with love by all his family. Zayden was only with us for a short time but his beautiful big eyes and smile will be treasured in our hearts forever. Zayden loved his Mommy and his big brother Gavin. Gavin loved his baby. Zayden brought so many smiles to so many people. He was always so happy and loved showing off his sweet smile. Zayden is survived by his mother Jessie Lynn Holmes; brother Gavin Roy Nichols; grandparents Krista K. Hyer (Jim Sandoval), Brice and Tara Holmes, Wallace Mecham; Aunts and Uncles Karissa (Barry) Meacham, Sierra (Mike) Mecham, James (Kenzie) Holmes, Ashlee (Jake) Higley, Courtney (Josh) Appleby, Sydnie Linde, Braxton Holmes; great grandparents Sherry and Bart Jacobsen; two of his sweet cousins Jaxton James Meacham, and Andi Mae Holmes; and numerous other special family and friends. Zayden was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy J Hyer and Karen L Hyer. Funeral services will be held at Nelson Family Mortuary in Provo Utah at 2:00 PM with a viewing held prior at 1:00 PM. Interment at the Provo Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Provo Ambulance and Police for their quick response, the entire emergency staff at Utah Valley Hospital, The Life Flight team and crew, Primary Children’s Hospital and PICU staff and team who worked so hard to try to save our sweet boy. Also, to the Organ Donation teams who did everything they could to continue Zayden’s life.
