Yolanda F. Faulcon

–

Long Beach, California

With a spirit as vibrant as the Arizona sunset, Yolanda F. Faulcon, better known as "Yo" to those who loved her, was a beacon of creativity, dedication, and generosity. Born on October 20, 1962, in Williams, AZ, to her loving parents, Yolanda thrived on making her world a better place. She was a charismatic force, touching hearts and inspiring minds, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.

Yolanda found joy and purpose in her work as a Supervisory Transportation Security Inspector, dedicating 39 years to the civil service. Her commitment to her career was unwavering, earning her a recognition of 41 years in Federal Service. But her dedication extended far beyond her career. She was a beloved member of the Girl Scout Club, Motorcycle Club, and Toastmasters International, where she brought her unique blend of charisma and dedication to every endeavor.

However, it was in her personal life where Yolanda's true colors shone the brightest. She was a creative force, always embarking on DIY home projects, cooking up a storm, and hosting unforgettable family gatherings. She loved online games and lounging by her pool, often while tackling a challenging 1000+ piece puzzle or delving into a self-improvement book. An adventurous spirit, she enjoyed biking, studying martial arts, motorcycle riding, and traveling in her younger years. As Maya Angelou once said, "My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style." This quote encapsulates Yolanda's approach to life perfectly.

Yolanda's love for her family was limitless. She is survived by her mother, Daphnia Deal; her siblings, Michell Harris, Brenda Johnson, Sheila Deal, Roger Deal, and TyTonia Lane; her cousin, Kathy Walker; her niece, Donyale Walker; and her nephew, Andre Deal. She was preceded in death by her father, Nathaniel Deal.

We invite you to share your memories, stories, and photographs of Yolanda on her memorial page. Each one is a testament to her radiant life and the profound impact she had on those around her. Let us remember Yolanda F. Faulcon, our beloved "Yo," for the creative, dedicated, generous, and charismatic woman she was. Her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us, just as the Arizona sunset she loved so dearly.
