On January 18, 2021, our Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, Sybil Patricia Naylor Roberts, passed from this life with her family at her side, after enduring her battle with cancer.\nPat was born April 11, 1943, to James and Madeline Naylor in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married her eternal companion, Richard Allen Roberts, in the Salt Lake Temple on May 6, 1965. They made their home in the Salt Lake Valley where they started their family. They eventually moved to Orem, Utah, where they have lived for the past 34 years. \nPat and Rich worked together, building their own business. Throughout the years, she helped create an environment where everyone involved (employees, customers, and other associates) felt like family. She devoted her time to their company for as long as she was able. \nShe served faithfully in many callings for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as a Primary, Young Women, and Relief Society President. She also served in many Stake and other auxiliary callings. \nIn every aspect of her life, she found joy in serving others and gained many life-long friendships with the people she worked and served alongside with. \nSome of her many hobbies included traveling, reading novels, studying the scriptures, and spending time with friends. Her greatest joy, however, came from supporting and being with her family. The countless ways she influenced and loved each member of her family are greater than words can express.\nPat is survived by her husband, Richard; three daughters, Tricia (Joe) Taylor; Jennifer (Jayson) Kunzler; and Cheri Roberts; 14 grandchildren and one granddog; and her siblings, Karren (Bob) Gill, Vicki (Matthew) Mataele, Jim (Jackie) Naylor, Ken (Katie) Naylor. She is preceded in death by her parents James Leroy Naylor, Jr. and Madeline Dotson Naylor.\nAll funeral services will be held at Nelson Family Mortuary, 4780 North University Ave. Provo, Utah. A public viewing will be held Sunday, January 24, 2021, from 5-8 pm. A private family viewing will be held Monday, January 25, 2021, from 10-10:45 am, followed by a private family funeral at 11:00 am. The graveside service will immediately follow the funeral at Eastlawn Memorial Hills Cemetery, Provo, Utah.\nThe Roberts family sincerely expresses their gratitude to the wonderful healthcare providers at Huntsman Cancer Institute for the loving care and comfort they have given to Pat for the last 7 years.
