Stephanie Todd

Stephanie Todd was born September 9, 1975 to Mary Jane Nelson Todd and Ronald Todd in Bountiful, Utah and passed away February 16, 2023. She died comfortably at home in Pleasant Grove, Utah surrounded by family. She was a pretty baby with light blond hair. Her sisters were so glad to have another girl in the family. Her brothers said, “We wanted a boy” but they kissed and loved her too.
When she was eight months old, she was hospitalized with a high fever and seizures resulting in paralysis for about one and a half hours. Later, at about three years old, it was realized that she was developmentally handicapped.
She grew up in Bountiful and went to pre-school at Monte Vista for a short time. At the age of six she began school at Meadowbrook in the Special Ed class. Every morning her dad or twin brothers would walk her to the bus. She spent the rest of her life in Pleasant Grove, Utah under the watchful care of her parents. Stephanie was loving and fun. She loved her movies especially Annie and Popeye and loved music.
Stephanie loved her birthdays, Christmas, having family come by to see her, baby dolls and her Minnie mouse. Stephanie was proceeded in death by her parents, Ronald and Mary Jane. She is survived by all of her siblings: Roxane Stay, Jennifer Stay, Rebecca Jacox, Catherine Todd Clark, Michael Ronald Todd, and Mark Todd.
Mom always said she didn’t know what she would do if Stephanie passed away first but also prayed daily that Stephanie would be allowed to leave this existence soon after her own death. A short nine days after Mom’s passing and brief reunion with Dad, Mom and Dad both came to accompany Stephanie back to her heavenly home. What a joyous day!
