Paula Williams

–

Salt Lake City, Utah

On the 27th of August, 2026, the sweetest and most beautiful Paula Sharee Williams passed from this chapter of her journey onto the next one. She was born in Long Beach, CA, on the 6th of January, 1956, grew up in the San Fernando Valley, and spent the latter half of her life in Provo, Utah. Paula led a life full of creativity, music, love, generosity, and devotion.

Paula was an artist. A crystal-blue-eyed soprano whose brilliant voice graced Carnegie Hall, Yankee Stadium, and prestigious venues all across Europe with the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square, and thankfully, she shared her music with us, too—in her ward choir, in our homes, at our events—always humming a melody under her breath.

Paula was a giver. To know her was to have received a hot loaf of her famous bread on a cool autumn evening, a jar of homemade plum jam in summer, or hand-dipped caramel pretzels at Christmas. She shared with us everything that she loved and used her talents to make others feel seen, cherished, and remembered.

Paula was a believer. She loved her church, her faith, and her ward members deeply—her neighbors and ward members all becoming lifelong friends. She was a very spiritual woman who was always striving to be kind, include others, and better herself.

Above all else, however, she always said that what she wanted most in her entire life was to be a mother. To raise a beautiful family of strong and independent children—that’s what would bring her the most joy in the world. That’s exactly what she did. She was able to achieve in this life what she wanted most.

Her love, her laughter, and her unforgettable smile live on in the hearts of her children, Amber Bauerle, Lindsey Shores, Charisse Miller, Tanner Williams, her siblings, and her friends. She joins in peaceful rest her parents, Paul and Alice Mann, her brother, David Mann, and finally, her beloved son Cameron Williams, whose absence from her life could never truly heal. We’re so, so grateful that she’s reunited with him once again.

In the spirit of Paula's love for creativity and beauty, all are encouraged to share memories, photographs, and tributes on the linked memorial page, her children would love to see them. Let us celebrate Paula's beautiful life, honoring the songs she sang with us, the beauty she shared with us, and the special memories she gave to us.

The life of Paula will be celebrated on Thursday, 3rd September 2026, at Nelson Family Mortuary, 4780 North University Avenue, Provo, Utah. Her funeral service will commence at 11:00 am. For those unable to attend, a live stream will be available at https://my.gather.app/remember/paula-williams-2026

We love you, Mama.
