Obituary for \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t Mikkel Muller\n\n\r\n\t\t\t\tMikkel Muller\n\nBorn March 6, 1976, the Bi-centennial Year of our country, to Dennis Arthur and Jolene (Jensen) Muller in Laramie, Wyoming. She was raised in Taylorsville, Utah and most recently called Dallas, Texas home. Mikkel passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer to return to our Heavenly Father on August 8, 2016. \n\nMikkel excelled at school and graduated from Cottonwood High School with a scholarship to Utah Valley Community College (now Utah Valley University). She served an LDS mission to Denmark. Mikkel was married to Ryan Shutes in the Salt Lake Temple on March 18, 2000 and later divorced. She was blessed with 3 daughters. Mikkel graduated from Idaho State University with a degree in Marketing and Business while battling cancer. Mikkel persevered harder than her diagnosis, and WON many battles over a 10-year period. Her Grandma Jensen had a saying on her fridge that said: “When I came into this world, I cried and the world rejoiced; and when I left this world I rejoiced, and the world cried." As we learn a new normal and grieve for our Mother, Daughter, Sister, Cousin, Niece and Friend to all, our hope is that you will all take a lesson that Mikkel taught us daily. “No matter the question, love is the answer.” \n\nMikkel is survived by her three daughters, Sylvia McCollum , Hallie Susanna, and Elizabeth Rose, her parents Dennis and Jolene Muller, Jennifer (David) Hogge, Lauren (Jared) Evans, Whitney Scow, Anne Marie (Randy Jay, Jr) Prince, Spencer (Danielle) Muller, and nieces and nephews. Mikkel was also loved and served by countless family members, friends and medical staff. \n\nWe will be honoring Mikkel Muller's life on August 13, 2016. There will be a viewing from 9-10:30 am at the Oquirrh Point 4th Ward, 6270 W 7000 S, West Jordan, Utah. The funeral will follow at 11:00 am. We invite you to join us in her honor.
