Obituary for \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t Kenneth Ray Allen\n\n\r\n\t\t\t\tKenneth Ray Allen returned home to his Father in Heaven on 2 April, 2018. Kenneth passed away peacefully after a sixteen year battle with RSD/CRPS. \n\nKenneth was born to Judith and Fred Allen on 23 June, 1970 in Salt Lake City. He grew up in Riverton, Utah and made many memories with his four brothers. Kenneth had a passion for wrestling, he loved to teach wrestling and was a 4 time All-American in High School. He attended Bingham High School where he met his sweetheart and eternal companion, Yvette Roberts. They dated three years before they were married in a small chapel in West Jordan, Utah on 15 July,1989. Later Kenneth and Yvette were sealed in the Atlanta Georgia Temple on 15 August, 1998 with their first two children Kathleen and Joseph Allen, later welcoming a third child Marcos Anthony. \n\nKen attended Mt Hood Community College and received his degree in mortuary science. He worked 15 years as a mortician, a career he loved. Kenneth was an incredible funeral director and embalmer because he truly loved those he worked with. Kenneth loved to serve anywhere and in anyway he could to those in his community as well as his own family. He loved all he met and could talk to anyone about anything. He loved teaching primary classes with his wife in church and going out with the missionaries to teach. He touched the lives of those he came in contact with, leaving a lasting impression. He was known for his warm smiles, bear hugs and his tender heart. \n\nKenneth is preceded in death by his Grandma and Grandpa Petersen, Grandma and Grandpa Allen, His cousins and best friends Kelly and Cliff Craig. He is survived by his wife, Yvette, his daughter; Kathleen, his two sons; Joseph and Marcos Anthony, mother and father; Judith and Fred, brothers; David, Richard, Gary, Andrew and many other family and loved ones who love and will miss him dearly. \n\nA private immediate family viewing will be held in his honor.
