Karmyn McKae Puzey, age seven, passed away peacefully at home on March 21st, 2019, surrounded by loved ones per her request.\n\nKarmyn was born in Ogden, Utah on January 18th, 2012 to Brian and Carrie Puzey. She was so full of life and got the most out of every day. Her smile and laughter was contagious and she could light up a room. \n\nKarmyn had a very special love for unicorns and just couldn’t wait to become a unicorn trainer when she grew up. She also loved being with her family, rainbows, swimming, animals, arts and crafts and getting her toes done.\n\nAt age three she was diagnosed with anaplastic ependymoma (brain cancer). She endured five brain surgeries, sixty-plus rounds of proton radiation and countless hours in the hospital. Somehow, through it all she came out with a smile. She truly was a gift to all.\n\nIn addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister Sailyr, stepsister Ella, stepbrother Raif and stepfather Tyler Shepard. She is also survived by her grandparents, aunts, uncles and many cousins, who all dearly loved her. \n\nGraveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at the Provo Cemetery, 610 S. State Street, Provo, UT.
