Obituary for Joyce Lewis (Clayson) Joyce Clayson Lewis 1931 - 2017 Joyce Clayson Lewis, age 85, passed away on May 1, 2017 at her daughter’s home in Springville, after a courageous battle with cancer. Joyce was born on August 26, 1931 in Lake Shore, UT to Hattie Marie Clark and Heber William Clayson. She married Mark Thomas Lewis on November 29, 1948. Their marriage was later sealed in the Manti LDS Temple on February 6, 1968. She is the mother of six; Connie Rand, Gaylene Davis, Cindy Casperson, Jolyne Beagley, Mark W. Lewis and Robert J. Lewis; grandmother of 31 grandchildren, 77 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. Joyce and Mark touched many lives with their generosity and passion for life, traveling and giving service to others. No one left her home hungry. She was preceded in death by her husband Mark Thomas Lewis, 10 brothers, 3 sisters, grandchildren Ryan Johnston, Jason Johnston, Kristy Swiderski and great grandson Colton Johnston. The family would like to thank I-Care Hospice and their nursing staff for their thoughtful service and tender care. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 8, 2017 at the Kolob LDS 4th Ward, 2557 Dalton Drive, Springville, UT.
