Obituary for \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t Jose Santos Ojeda\n\n\r\n\t\t\t\tJose Santos Ojeda passed away suddenly and peacefully at his home in Provo, Utah on December 24th 2017 at the age of 48. \n\nJose is survived by his wife Viviana, his children Jose Santos Jr (26), Tyler (25), Said (22), Nabil (19), Farid (16) and Sebastian (10), his parents Gidalthi Ojeda and Gladys & Preston Pickett, his siblings Gidalthi, Suld-Sireth Burga (Daniel) and Zuleyth Sibley (Shea), his nephews and nieces Dominic, Amaia, Ricardo, Joaquin, Alonso, Piero, Zedakaiah, Thiago, Azaryah and Bianca whom will profoundly miss him. He has departed to his Heavenly Father and will be reunited with his late sister Milka Ojeda. \n\nJose was a loving, caring, hard-working and fun human being, always worrying for the well-being of his entire family. He was born in Lima Peru on March 22, 1969 and moved to Utah at the young age of 17. He went to Utah Valley State College, BYU and the U of U, but followed his passion and became an extraordinary chef. He also worked in the real estate and financial industry.\n\nJose had an extraordinary gift with people, he always found a way to help and touch a person’s life at a time of need. Everyone will always dearly remember the gatherings at his house for a great time and delicious food. \n\nFamily and friends are invited to celebrate a time of remembrance to be held on Friday, January 5th 2018 from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Nelson Family Mortuary, 4780 N University Ave, Provo, Utah. A church viewing will be on Saturday, January 6th 2018 at 11:30 a.m. followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at the LDS Hillside Chapel located at 1960 North 1500 East, Provo, UT.
