From a young age Jacq has had the most beautiful smile that lights up your soul. She is the oldest of six children and loves her family dearly.\n\nIn high school, she pursued singing, dancing, acting and running with passion. After graduating valedictorian of her high school class, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development at Brigham Young University. While there, she met and married Seth Penrose. A few short years later, they joyously welcomed their sweet daughter, Brynley Madison Penrose, to their family.\n\nJust two years after Brynley’s arrival, Jacquelyn was diagnosed with breast cancer. Jacq’s faith, tenacity, inner strength and most importantly, love for her daughter, shined for all to be inspired.\n\nIn the words of her father, “Jacquelyn was fully committed to being the best mother possible, regardless of obstacles in life. During her cancer journey, Brynley was Jacq’s primary focus and I personally believe that Brynley helped to extend Jacq’s life by elevating her passion to live. That love for Bryn can only be stronger now that Jacquelyn has transcended into becoming Brynley’s Mother-ing Angel.”\n\nAnyone who knows Jacquelyn is touched by her kindness, humor, and sweet temperament. She is a source of positivity, light, and warmth, and we will remember her each time we feel the sun’s rays shining upon us.\n\nJacquelyn is re-united in death with her grandfather, Barton Eugene Dahneke. She is survived by her daughter, parents, brothers Jonathan, Rulon, Barton, Christian, her sister Hannah, sisters-in-love Blake, and Alyssa, grandparents Marilyn Scott Dahneke, Spencer Leroy Daines, and Sheila Ward Daines, and baby niece Georgia — all whom love her dearly and will cherish memories of her wit, charm, and grace.\n\nA Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 24 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Nelson Family Mortuary located at 4780 N University Ave, Provo, UT 84604. Another viewing will be held on Friday, February 25 from 10:00 - 10:45am before her funeral service at Nelson Family Mortuary in Provo.
