Eagle Mountain, Utah
We honor the life of Holly Erin Hoffman, a beacon of love and light in every life she touched. Born on December 20, 1961, in Ogden, Utah, Holly's life was a testament to her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, her ceaseless love for her family, and her relentless pursuit of joy. She was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, serving in various roles that allowed her to express her supportive and creative nature, from a scout leader to a relief society instructor.
Holly was a woman of many talents. Her professional life reflected her compassionate spirit, as she devoted herself to caregiving and home health care. Her achievements were many, including being a dental assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, massage therapist, and a home health care specialist. But perhaps her most cherished roles were those of a devoted wife, a loving mother, and an adored grandmother. She had a gift for nurturing others, both through her professional work and her personal relationships. She loved the outdoors, being a busy body and took care of those around her with a passion.
Her marriage to Kevin Hoffman on December 14, 1984, was the beginning of a journey filled with love, laughter, and the creation of a beautiful family. Holly was also an avid gardener, a talented seamstress, and a dedicated prepper, hobbies that spoke of her deeply caring and protective nature. She found joy in the simple things, like playing with her grandkids or baking traditional meals that brought her family together. Holly's life was centered around her faith in Jesus Christ, her love for her family, and the joy she found in simply living life.
From her birthplace in Ogden, Utah, she journeyed through Boise, Logan, West Jordan, and Las Vegas, before finally settling down in Eagle Mountain, Utah. In each place, Holly left her mark, spreading joy, love, and her creative spirit. Holly is survived by her devoted husband, Kevin Hoffman, and her cherished children Rory and Shelby Hoffman; and her grandchildren Logan and Blaire, Caitlin Hoffman and Carlos Santiago, Sydney Hoffman and Adina Dana, Rachel Hoffman; and her grandchildren Ashton and Calvin, and Connor and Samantha Hoffman and her future granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her father, Gary Luke, her mother, Shirley Johnston, her sister, Kim Hammond, and her brother, Cory Luke. Holly's legacy of love, faith, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
As we remember Holly, we recall a verse from the Book of Mormon that she often quoted, "Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life" (2 Nephi 31:20). She lived these words, embodying steadfastness, hope, and love.
In honor of Holly's life, we invite you to share your memories, stories, and photographs on her memorial page. In these shared moments, may we find comfort, inspiration, and a reminder of Holly's creative, supportive, and generous spirit that will forever light our way.
