Obituary for \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t Gloria Estela Mena (Lopez)\n\r\n\t\t\t\tGLORIA ESTELA LOPEZ MENA- was born on November 26, 1953 in San Salvador, El Salvador. She passed away on July 2, 2016, at the age of 62, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Gloria was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served as a missionary in the Guatemala mission from 1976-78. After her mission, she moved to Panama where she met and married Julio Cesar Mena on April 22, 1983. That same year they were sealed for eternity in the Mesa, Arizona temple. \n\nShe was a very devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her husband of 34 years; three children, Cesar Francisco, Julio Alexander and Evelyn Indira; four siblings Ana Maria Hawkins, Rosa Isabel Lopez, Norma Garate and Napoleon Lopez; and many family members from around the world. She was preceded in death by her parents Napoleon Lopez and Isabel Garcia de Lopez and two brothers, Guillermo and Francisco Lopez. \n\nGloria loved to make friends, cook, and dance. Throughout her final days on earth, she maintained a wonderful sense of humor. Gloria had an unshakably strong testimony of God and Jesus Christ and served others through her many callings in the LDS church. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, and friend. Her loving presence will be missed by all.\n\nA service will be held for Gloria at the Nelson Family Mortuary 4780 North University Avenue, Provo, Utah on Saturday, July 9. The viewing begins at 9:30 a.m., and the service at 11:00 a.m.
