Glade Lopaka Pula, blessed the world with his presence on January 21, 1972. Raised in Hau’ula Heights, he’s a proud alumni of Rainbow School, Hau’ula Elementary, and of course Kahuku High and Intermediate. Proud RR4L class of 1990!!
After graduating, he attended school at Rocky Mountain College in Montana and Willamette University in Oregon. He then went on to serve a church mission for two years in Osaka, Japan. Later he met the love of his life, Mia Santana, and they were married December 26, 1998. They brought 5 beautiful children in to the world, and settled in Orem, Utah.
He spent years working at Costco in Orem. When he wasn’t at work, majority of his time was spent coaching his boys football and soccer teams. For those who knew Paka, you either liked him or you didn’t. He was always straight forward, and never beat around the bush. Always prided himself in keeping it 100 all day everyday.
Paka gained his wings on Monday, February 14, 2022 in Provo, Utah. He is survived by his wife Mia, his children Kaino, Deuce, Rogue, Ehu and Raider. Also by his mother Valerie Luana Pula, sister U’ipumehana, and brothers Fala and Mana.
The family will be holding a public viewing at Nelson Family Mortuary in Provo on Wednesday, February 23rd from 6pm-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 24th from 10:30 am to 12:00pm.
The Pula’s would like to thank everyone for offering their prayers and condolences.
