Obituary for \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t Donna Marie Gardner\n\r\n\t\t\t\tDonna Marie Gardner died peacefully at home in West Jordan, Utah, Sunday May 15, 2016 of natural causes. Donna was 88 years old born July 3, 1927 in Hibbard, Idaho. She was the daughter of Elsie May Knapp and Charles Martin Larsen. \n\nDonna had 10 siblings. Sylvia May Larsen deceased 2003, Marion Rosalyn Larsen deceased 2006, Blanche Evelyn Larsen deceased 2000, Justin Charles Larsen, Virginia Knapp Larsen, Velma Sarah Larsen deceased 2002, Gerald Henry Larsen deceased 1931, Verna Jean Larsen, Vaun LeRoy Larsen. Donna married John (Jack) Munson in 1946 and had 3 children; Susan Marie Munson of West Jordan, UT, Randy John Munson deceased 1990 and Scott Munson of Reno, NV. This marriage ended in divorce. Donna married Leland Gardner in 1960. Leland brought with him 8 children. Judy Kaye Wilson of Boise, ID, Gary Lee Gardner of San Antonio, TX, Clinton Gardner of Pocatello, ID, Brent Taylor of Blackfoot, ID, Chris Taylor of Denver, CO, Almeda Davis of Coleville, WA deceased 2011, James Gardner of Fallon, NV, David Gardner of Olympia, WA, then together Donna and Leland had Laura Lee Clark of West Jordan, UT. This gave Donna and Leland a dozen children to raise. Donna has 44 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Leland passed away in 2014 they were married 56 years. \n\nDonna was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Primary, Young Womens, camp director, Relief Society teacher and in the library. Donna’s favorite calling was working in the Idaho Falls Temple for 12 years. Donna loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. She was an amazing cook and seamstress and her pride and joy was photo albums and books of remembrance. \n\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 20 at the Wild Flower LDS Church 9227 S Wild Clover Lane, West Jordan, UT. The family will visit with friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday May 19th and also 10 a.m. on Friday May 20th at the Wild Flower LDS Church. There will be a Celebration of Life at the gravesite on Sat May 21 at 2 p.m. at the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery 4600 S. Yellowstone Avenue, Idaho Falls, ID 83401.
