Dominic Fox Millward
April 25, 2006 – October 4, 2026

Dominic Fox Millward, beloved son, brother, grandson, friend, and hero to others through the gift of organ donation, passed from this life on October 4, 2026, at the age of 20.

Dominic was born on April 25, 2006, in St. George, Utah, to Travis and Mary Millward.
From the beginning, Dominic had a presence all his own. He had a mischievous smile, beautiful hazel eyes, a tender heart, and an unmistakable spark for life. He was adventurous, funny, independent, loyal, and always just enough of a rascal to keep things interesting.

Dominic loved a thrill. He loved to push the limits, test the boundaries, and see what he could get away with. He liked to drive fast, chase adventure, and live close to the edge. We are fairly certain there are stories involving Dominic and a set of flashing lights that his parents will never fully know about. But even in his wild side, there was never a desire to hurt anyone. He simply loved the feeling of being alive.

Cars became one of Dominic’s greatest passions, especially his Lexus LS. He loved working on it, driving it, talking about it, modifying it, and making it his own. He took pride in that car, and anyone who knew Dominic knew how much he loved it. If someone’s car broke down, he was also the kind of friend who would show up, get his hands dirty, and help figure it out.

Dominic was adventurous from the time he was little. As a boy, he played just about every sport he could, including baseball and flag football, and he loved mountain biking. He also loved fishing.
One summer, Dominic and his friends decided an ordinary fishing boat was unnecessary, so they built their own raft out of 50 gallon water drums and plywood and spent the summer floating around the lake fishing. It was inventive, slightly questionable, adventurous, and completely Dominic.

He loved a good story, especially when he was the one creating it.

In the days surrounding Dominic’s passing, one of the greatest gifts to his family has been meeting so many of his friends, including some they had never known before. They came to the hospital and shared story after story about the Dominic they knew.

Through their eyes, his family has gotten to know another beautiful side of their son.
Again and again they heard the same things.
Dominic was always ready to go somewhere. Always ready for an adventure. Always looking for something to do, somewhere to drive, somewhere to explore, or someone to be with.

And when someone needed him, he showed up.
If a friend had a broken down car, Dominic would help fix it. If someone was struggling emotionally or walking through a dark place, Dominic would go sit beside them. Sometimes helping meant doing something. Sometimes it simply meant being there.
Getting to know their son through the eyes of his friends has become one of the greatest treasures of these difficult days.

Beneath all the mischief and adventure was an incredibly tender heart.

Dominic noticed people. He helped people. He sat with people. He was the kind of friend who would drop what he was doing to go help a buddy who needed him. He had a soft spot for animals, babies, and anyone who needed a little extra love or help.
The same young man who loved speed, adventure, and pushing the limits was also the young man who would quietly sit beside someone in their darkest moment.

Both were Dominic.

Dominic had dreams still unfolding. He loved experiencing new things, discovering new places, and imagining what might come next. There was still so much life ahead of him and so many adventures he intended to take.

Though Dominic graduated from this life far earlier than any of us could have imagined, his life did not end without leaving an extraordinary legacy.
When Dominic was just sixteen years old, he made the decision on his own to become an organ donor.
It was a choice that perfectly reflected who he was.
Even in death, Dominic is helping others live.
His family finds tremendous comfort in knowing that through this final gift, portions of Dominic’s beautiful life will continue here on earth. Their prayer is that every organ is recovered perfectly, reaches its recipient safely, and not only brings healing to a physical body, but awakens the recipient even more deeply to the miracle and preciousness of being alive.

Dominic’s family believes deeply that he continues to live.

They believe he is with his Father in Heaven and his Savior, Jesus Christ, surrounded by loved ones who have gone before him. While the separation is heartbreaking, they find peace in knowing that this goodbye is not forever.

Dominic is the beloved son of Travis and Mary Millward and the oldest of six children.
He is deeply loved by his siblings: Cash Millward, 18; Roman Millward, 16; Ruby Millward, 14; Violet Millward, 12; and Goldie Millward, 10.

He is also deeply loved by his grandparents, Steven and Faith May, Theresa and Kelly Humphreys, and Anita and Weston Millward, along with countless extended family members, cousins, friends, and people whose lives were made better simply because Dominic was part of them.

Twenty years will never feel like enough.
And yet Dominic managed to fill those twenty years with laughter, friendship, adventure, loyalty, tenderness, mischief, love, and a final act of generosity that will continue rippling outward for years to come.

His family hopes Dominic’s life will remind all of us to love a little bigger, forgive a little faster, help the buddy who needs us, take the adventure, make the memory, hug our children tighter, and never take for granted the incredible gift of being alive.

We love you forever, Dom Dom.

Until we see you again.
