Dana Aldridge Brower
October 4, 1965 – April 26, 2025
We're so saddened to announce the passing of Dana Aldridge Brower. She passed peacefully in her home after a happy evening with her family. We are so sad to see her go but are happy to think of her being reunited with her father, Dan Aldridge, and her nephew, Chase Hood, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her mother, Nancy Aldridge, her siblings, Don Aldridge, Jacci Hood-Miller, Tami Johnson, her beloved children Tabitha and Kyle, and many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was Deaf and fiercely proud of it. She taught ASL for four years at Reagan Academy in Springville, Utah. Dana loved her students and sharing her language and culture. She loved dancing her whole life, dancing on her high school drill team and dancing in her kitchen. She was passionate about theater, performing in joint Hearing-ASL productions throughout her adult life. She loved her cat, Mia, and chatting for hours on FaceTime. She loved arts and crafts and loved to sing, loved going to the movies and talking about her latest TV show, and just loved to be with others.
She was easily moved and easily delighted, loved to tease, and was honest, warm, and kind. We love her. We're so sorry she's gone, but our family is honored to share her memory with all the people who love her, too. We will cherish the time when we are all reunited.

The Celebration of Life for Dana Aldridge Brower will be held Friday, May 2, 2025, at Nelson Family Mortuary, 4780 North University Avenue, Provo, Utah 84604. The viewing will be from 1:00-1:45 pm with the Celebration of Life beginning at 2:00 pm. Following the Celebration there will be light refreshments. All are welcome and ASL interpreters will be present.
