Cynthia Olinghouse Obituary (1966 - 2021)

Cynthia ‘Cindy’ Lynne Olinghouse April 17, 1966 – November 30, 2021 With profound sadness, we said goodbye to Cindy Lynne Olinghouse (age 55) on Tuesday, November 30, who passed away peacefully surrounded by those closest to her. She was born in Salt Lake City, raised in Twin Falls, Idaho, and returned to Utah where she raised her family in the city of Orem. Cindy had a beautiful smile that warmed the room. She devoted her time and energy to her most proud accomplishment, her grandkids. She loved trips to Mesquite, Las Vegas, Oregon, Hawaii, going on cruises with her family, and local concerts in the park. She loved to go camping, four-wheeling, and golfing. Her favorite hobbies included gardening, canning, and making family recipes in the kitchen. The Parker Family Reunion was one of her favorite annual traditions. She received an Associate Degree in Primary Education from Utah Valley University (UVCC). Her kindness was best shown helping displaced children. Cindy is survived by her son Justin, daughter Samantha, brother Jason Parker, and father Richard Parker. Grandchildren: Kameron, Maverick, and Aurora. Life Partner: Dave Smith. She is preceded in death by her mother Donna Lynne Gertsch. To honor Cindy as she would have liked, a celebration of life will be held sometime in January, 2022 and all will be invited to attend.
