Cynthia M. Harding, or Cindy as she was lovingly known by many, was a woman of such vibrant spirit and infectious humor that her light was felt by everyone fortunate enough to cross her path. Born on May 3, 1956, she was deeply rooted in her community of Salem, Utah, where she lived for 69 years. She was a dedicated worker at the Medal Gold Dairy where she served as a Teamster steward, a testament to her undying commitment to women's rights and the Teamsters. Her vivacious spirit was reflected in her love for decorating, ceramics, camping, and the many Pinterest ideas she would enthusiastically bring to life.
Cindy's love for her family was vast and undeniable. Her home was often filled with cherished keepsakes from her children and grandchildren (even a card with a prewritten sentiment which her son only signed). It was a place where her love extended beyond blood ties, as she warmly welcomed friends into the family fold. Holidays with Cindy were unforgettable. Easter scavenger hunts, Halloween "Spooky Dinners," and other creative ventures brought joy and laughter to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, showcasing her funny and spirited nature. Despite her own aches and pains, her dedication to her family never wavered, even managing to raise three incredible sons; Dustin, Wesley, and myself, Greg. Her love and support for us were unwavering, even amidst the inevitable challenges of parenting. She often said "As long as our kids didn't do half what Ted and I did, we were good."
Cindy was, in a word, unforgettable. Her opinions, always delivered with humor and passion, enlivened family gatherings, sparking captivating showdowns between herself and her sons. She was a dedicated member of the Elks Club and the Teamsters, fiercely advocating for the issues that mattered most to her. Cindy is survived by her sons, Dustin, Wesley (Holly), and Greg (Bree), her brothers Randy (Lisa) and Tracy (Melody) Mower. She was preceded in death by her father Owen, mother Peggy, brother Steve, and husband Ted.
To honor Cynthia's beautiful life, we invite you to share your treasured memories, stories, and photos on her memorial page. In remembering Cindy, we celebrate the love, laughter, and dedication that defined her life. Let's continue to honor her legacy by living with the same spirit, humor, and devotion that she exhibited every day.
