Chad Justin Kirk "The Toughest SOB in the World", passed away in his home on July 20, 2023. He was born in Provo, Utah June 08, 1955. He was a resilient soul who faced his health challenges with courage and ferocity.\n\nChad was lucky to have his wife Allison Kirk by his side for 53 years. They loved to travel and have seen the World together. Allison took such devoted loving care of Chad until his last day. Together they have two children, daughter Monica Batley and her husband Derrick; his son Cory Kirk and his wife Callie.\n\nChad was an exceptional grandpa. His memory with be cherished by his grandchildren; Jerry Argyle, Brooke Batley, and Glade Kirk. His granddogs Russ and Moony will miss him too. Chad was proceeded in death by his parents Theron Glade and Phyllis Kirk, and his brother Theron Dennis Kirk.\n\n Chad enjoyed working at Reams grocery store in Provo with his dad in his youth. After high school Chad started working at Geneva Rock Products where he continued to work for 43 years until his retirement in 2011.\n\nChad loved playing baseball and playing catch with his kids. Chad liked bowling with his grandkids and would never miss a Grandfathers Day at school. Chad loved his big red trucks and enjoyed taking them 4 wheel driving with his buddies. He loved Moab and Lake Powell which held many happy memories. Chad was also known for having a beautiful yard.\n\nA Celebration of Life will be held Thursday July 27, 2023 from 6-8 pm at \nMt Timpanogos Park US 189 Orem, Utah 84097. Followed by a 8:30 Sunset Memorial Service at Eastlawn Memorial Hills.
