Obituary for \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t Blake Gene Cornelius\n\n\r\n\t\t\t\tIt is with very sad and the heaviest of hearts, the world lost an amazing young man. Blake Gene Cornelius lost his battle with epilepsy on April 22, 2018. \n\nBlake was born March 8th 1991, the first child of Brett Gene and Melissa Patterson Cornelius. He graduated from Springville High School in 2009 and was currently employed at Securitas as a security guard. \n\nBlake was a fun loving, adventurous, quick-witted young man with a zest for life and a huge loving heart. He enjoyed riding his new Harley, (he was so very proud of that bike), collecting watches, hot wheels, knives and videos. He could fix almost anything and everything without reading the instructions. He loved his dogs Puggs, Joey, Leroy and even Draco (even though he would wake him up), pie, anything teriyaki, Vanilla Coke, Reeses Pieces and especially Shark Week (and yes, the megaladon is real). \n\nHe is survived by his mother, father, sister Cassi (Jason) Christensen, grandparents Pat Duncan Patterson, Don & Cordy Cornelius, Steve & Linda Turner and Rod & Vickie Patterson, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.\n\nIn lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at America First Credit Union under his name, Blake G Cornelius Memorial Fund (account number 9101346) to help with these unexpected funeral costs.\n\nFuneral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Nelson Family Mortuary, 4780 N. University Avenue, Provo UT. There will be a viewing on Friday, April 27th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the mortuary on Saturday from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. prior to funeral services. Interment will be in the Orem Cemetery. \n\nThere will be a motorcycle procession leading from the mortuary to the cemetery. All and any of those with bikes and muscle cars are encouraged to ride along.
