Ashton Allen Obituary (2020 - 2020)

Ashton Alvin Allen passed peacefully in the arms of his parents on May 4, 2020. He was born eight days earlier on April 26 (his father’s birthday), 2020, along with his fraternal twin brother, Benson. Ashton is the son of Robert and Rachel Allen of Provo, Utah. He is survived by four sisters, Mari, Liana, Ava, and Ella; and his twin brother, Benson. Ashton was born with Trisomy 18 and was given a fatal diagnosis early in gestation. His parents feel so privileged to have been able to spend that week with him and are grateful he is a part of their forever family. We know Ashton has a great work to do in the service of God on the other side, and we look forward to having him greet each of us there one day. “The Lord takes many away, even in infancy, that they may escape the envy of man, and the sorrows and evils of this present world; they were too pure, too lovely, to live on earth; therefore, if rightly considered, instead of mourning we have reason to rejoice as they are delivered from evil, and we shall soon have them again.” – Joseph Smith
