Obituary for Adam Gordon Norton Adam Gordon Norton On the morning of July 8, 2016, After a wonderfully memorable evening spent with his father and friends, Adam while doing everyday tasks suffered a heart attack. Our kind and forever sweet brother returned home to his Heavenly Father, and into the loving arms of family waiting on the other side. Adam Norton 32, was born February 23, 1984, in Provo, Utah. He became the seventh child of our ever expanding family of twelve. He was born premature with heart disease and scoliosis. He never let this get in the way of his playful spirit which fueled the energy for countless family adventures. Adam married the love of his life, Lisa Jackman and proudly became the father of three, Kyler, Lilija and Elyse in 2014. Baby Cash was born in 2015 and was a part of every breath Adam took. Although their time together has been brief, his son gave him great strength. The joy he experienced in his role as a father has been a blessing for us all. Adam truly loved all his family and always enjoyed being around the little people. He was strong yet tender. His smile was more than infectious, he could light up the room with his sincerity and grin. He loved the culinary arts, fitness, fishing, reading, photography and baseball. He especially enjoyed several seasons of coaching baseball. Adam clearly understood the importance of hugs, and frequently demonstrated his appreciation for time well spent with those you love. Adam was known for honest and meaningful conversation. He could make anybody talk and looked you in the eye while he listened. He was a very loyal friend with good intentions. He was always there to help and love, as though he was playing catch-up for time away… We will miss his thoughtfulness, his gentle ways, and his unconditional love. Until we meet again. xo Adam was preceded in death by: grandpa M. Ronald Norton, grandma Lael Norton, grandma Patty Murphy, great grandma Katie Fontaine, cousins Jared Badger and Elijah Bray. Adam is survived by: his son Cash Norton, mother Dawn Norton, father Scott Norton, and grandfather Gordon Flikeid. Siblings; Amber Phillips (Craig), Shannon Enlow, Cameron Norton, Allan Enlow (Rachel), Graham Norton (Monica), Keyaira Norton, Alisa Norton (Myles), Gavin Norton, Garrett Norton, McKenna Norton, Grayson Norton. Eight adorable nieces; Kylie, Ruby, Gracie, Blythe, Cameron, Olivine, Natasha, Rowan and nephews; Kyle, Bear and Brandt. We are so thankful for all the love, hugs and kind words sent our way. We appreciate the Oak Hills 7th Ward for their generosity and fellowship.
